The 100th birth anniversary of Hirmus Ants, one of the most legendary forest brothers in Estonia, was celebrated on 21st October in Pärnu with the history conference “Ants Kaljurand 100”. The conference was held at Kuninga Street Basic School. Well known historians and researchers such as Martin Andreller, Martin Herem, Eerik-Niiles Kross, Tiit Noormets, Meelis Saueauk and Mati Mandel presented at the event.
